Live Data option for metadata enrichment workflow.

When the Live Data option is selected, all previously exported files are analyzed. If a duplicate has been processed since the time it was exported, all fields around custodians and duplicate dates will be updated. This targets previously promoted data that is selected when running an Overlay export.

Permission

Add User permissions to view the Processing Status tab.*

If the current project is linked to a processing project, users with the necessary permissions will be able to view the progress of processing jobs from the navigation sidebar menu.

Processing Overview page added.*

The Processing Overview page totals all completed processing jobs for a project, linked to a list of all processing jobs submitted with each job’s status and progress made. This is available to Instance and Company Administrators.

New web-based upload experience has been integrated with an enhanced step-by-step wizard. Unprocessed data can be uploaded, processed, and promoted as a single action.

As part of the web-based uploader, users can select documents and attachments, as well as edit relevant fields prior to starting a processing job.

Customize sort order for Australian Protocol exports.

Sort functionality is expanded for Australian Protocol exports. The Sort By drop-down under the Australian Numbering options includes additional selections. The Custodian, ParentDocType, and ImportPath fields will match the default sorting behavior of Parent\Child type exports.

Set Invalid Dates to Null option enabled by default.

When executing exports from the Processing desktop client, the "Set Invalid Dates to Null" option found in Review Manager will be checked by default. This allows for indexing after promoting items from Processing to Review.

Support user initials as avatars for RSMF data.

When RSMF data is promoted for review, a participant’s profile avatar is recorded. When an avatar is not available, however, user initials will be used instead so that the resulting images are consistent throughout documents.

Enhancement for multi-part archive processing to include additional archive types.

File type support has been added for multi-part archives. The following file extensions will be recognized appropriately during processing: BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, WIM, and XZ.

Improve search logic to execute queries faster.

Substantial improvements around the search logic have been made to enhance the speed of document retrieval in processing. These document scopes are defined and referenced in the Selective Set, Import QC, and Export modules of Discovery Manager.

A new export field is available: 'TEXTFILESIZE' records the size of the text associated with the native document.

Resolved an issue where certain RSMF files with natives would not generate during export when underscore and bracket characters were present in the filename.

Australian Protocol numbering for folders.

When running exports for Australian Protocols, folder numbers are now incremented correctly with respect to the Prefix and Box number.

Incomplete MHT created from PST email.

Resolved an issue where certain PST files exported as an MHT type would not display body text. These files are now handled reliably in the same manner as MSG’s.

Mismatched time zones processing RSMF files.

Date\Time values presented in RSMF native renderings will now correctly align with the MasterDate field as well as the configured time zone set for a project.

Microsoft Teams file attachments and numbering.

Families were not numbered in sequential order for when processing data for Microsoft Teams. Handling has been improved to ensure families are pulled together and numbering is applied sequentially.

Improved imaging support of Word and PowerPoint files.

Certain Word and PowerPoint documents would render incorrectly when imaged. Additional support for these formatting variations of these filetypes have been added.

Incomplete MSG copies with checked 'Apply to Loose/Attached Email' export option.

MSG files that were imported could result in an incomplete native output during export when the 'Apply to Loose/Attached Email' option is checked. This has been addressed so that native output is complete and as expected.

AD1 files fail to extract fully or stall.

In some instances, large multi-part AD1 files could fail to fully extract or even stall during import. Handling has been improved to ensure these types of jobs complete as expected.

BMP File not being identified as inline attachment.

BMP files are now properly identified as Inline Attachments. Selecting the option to suppress inline images during processing will properly prevent those items from being extracted.

MBOX extracts natives and text but errors on metadata.

When processing MBOX files, natives and text were properly extracted, while metadata was not. This has now been addressed to ensure metadata is processed correctly as well.

ZIP decryption failing on import.

Encrypted Zip archives could fail to properly decrypt in some instances when relying on a provided password, preventing extraction. This has been corrected to ensure automated extraction when the password is present.

In certain instances, PDF Portfolios containing converted emails could fail to extract during import. Handling has been improved to ensure all content is properly targeted during processing.

Certain types of Zip archives may result in missing items after processing. Enhancements have been made to further ensure extraction of all content in those archives.

L01 failing to complete extraction during Import Job.

In some scenarios, L01 files could fail to complete extraction, leading to an incomplete import. Changes have been made to ensure all files within an L01 container are extracted correctly.

Improved extraction of PDF Portfolios from PST containers.

In some scenarios, PDF Portfolio file types were not properly extracted from a PST container during processing. This has been addressed.

Import QC flag categories.

Resolved an issue where files could be flagged with an Import QC value without properly being assigned to a flag category.

Selective Sets

Selective Set previews with multiple users.

When multiple users attempted to preview the same Selective Set, a lock error would be present. This has been addressed to allow users to interact with the previewer simultaneously.
